Damai Villa is a self-managed compound of only four self-contained private villas where each unit is individually gated and comes with private swimming pool. The golden-sandy beaches of Oberoi and Petitenget are only a few minutes away on foot. The complex consists of one compound of a 4-bedroom villa and three compounds of 3-bedroom villa with semi-modern design and similar looking bedrooms and bathrooms, embracing European and Balinese taste in the interior touch. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and has its own en-suite bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet.
Entering its private gate is the fully open-aired living and dining area allowing natural breeze of Bali’s warmth freely flowing in and out, followed by a T-shaped or L-shaped building with thatched roof, with an accent of Balinese ethnic by the tempting bale/gazebo, a Balinese designed daybed at the end of the living area. Large windows along the front walls of the bedrooms allow you to enjoy the interior garden views and the pool from inside the bedrooms.
A staff quarter area is located across the living area where the fully set kitchen and staff station are located. A cook and cleaning staff are on stand-by in the villa from 8am to 4pm with flexibility to attend until a later time requested at a charge. Private swimming pool sits on decently-manicured lawn giving a nice contrast of azure blue and tropical green, securely protected by grey walls to preserve the villa exclusivity. The lawn-paved parking lot space is individually available for each villa.
The villa is strategically located at only 5 minutes walk through Pangkung Sari small road towards the famous and favorite ‘eat street’ of Seminyak recently called as Laksmana road, where all the international 5-star restaurants are located side by side, along with artistically designed boutiques and show rooms. Taxis are easy to find and available on-call.
Being re-launched in early 2009, the villas are well-kept and situated inside the tranquil part of Seminyak area, which is how it is named after Indonesian name “Damai” which means peaceful. This fact allow you to enjoy the relaxing privacy and yet perfectly close distanced to the shopping and food adventure arena.
Damai Besar, the biggest villa sits on a 1000 meters land comprising 4 air-conditioned bedrooms of 3 king-sized beds with ensuite open bathrooms and 1 single bed in the 4th bedroom with ensuite bathroom, completed with free-shaped swimming pool and gardens. The main dining room sits 10 people. Each of Villa Damai Kecil, Damai Ronda and Damai Manis has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with king-size beds and en-suite open-air bathroom. Damai Kecil has a free-shaped pool, Damai Ronda has a round-shaped pool and Damai Manis has a square-shaped pool. Each unit attracts an exotic feeling with its sun-showered and peaceful open plan.
The modern convenient of LCD TV with international channels, DVD player, surround sound system and free wireless broadband internet access keep you updated about the rest of the world. For young families, baby cot is available at no charge. Baby sitting is available on request at an extra charge. There is a maximum of one extra bed in the villa for an extra person exceeding the villa capacity at a charge.
The villa rate is excluding breakfast and airport transfers. Any in-villa serviced meals can be arranged at no cost for the cooking and the serving except for the grocery cost which is to be borne by the guests based on the 4-hours pre-order. The villa has a book of food and drinks menu of which the guests can select from and order to the staff by placing pocket cash for the grocery, or the guests can feel free to experience the shopping art at the nearest big supermarkets, located only 5 minutes drive from the villa.
These nice individual villas are daily maintained by housemaids, gardeners, pool attendants and guarded by experienced night security men. Tipping is suggested upon departure as rates do not include any service charges.
